【摘要】:Thistestmethodestablishesastandardprocedureofcomparativetesting,fortiredurabilityandtreadwear,fortheuseofapprovingtiresundertheAdministratorrsquo;CooperativeApprovedTireList(CATL)(2).1.1Thistestmeasurescomparativetiredurabilityandtreadwear.Thistestmethodcoverscommerciallyavailable,overthehighwaypneumatictires,newandretreaded,bothtubetypeandtubeless,foruseonconventionalpassengercars,stationwagons,pursuitandemergencyhighspeedandpursuitpassengervehicles,lighttrucks,mediumtoheavytrucks,trailers,buses,andsimilarvehiclesnormallyoperatedonpublicroadsandhighways.Thistestmethodalsocoverscommerciallyavailable,specialapplicationlighttrucktiresforoperationonnon-improvedroadsurfaces.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
